Hearing Homecare - we come to you

At Hearing Homecare we provide a FREE and impartial hearing test, in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of your own home where we take the time to understand your needs and answer any questions you feel are important to you. We are completely independent and uniquely qualified to supply ANY hearing aid system from ANY manufacturer - together we explore what is best for you, dependant on your hearing test results, according to your individual needs and budget. Try before you buy - we make sure you are 100% happy with the hearing system we recommend, before you pay for the equipment, and if you are considering up-grading or improving your existing system, then you are more than welcome to try the latest technology before you miss out any further from not hearing as well as you can. We also operate 'Price Check' which assures you will get the best prices available and will always try to take advantage of any discounts offered by any manufacturer, so you can be assured of best value at all times. Our code of conduct and customer care plan is also championed by the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists and the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals so you are assured of a professional and ethical service at all times. We stock only the highest quality products from the most respected manufacturers. All products are fitted by our fully trained and highly experienced hearing aid audiologist. You will always see the same audiologist throughout the 3 year aftercare period.

Free Hearing Assessment

This is where an experienced and fully qualified Audiologist establishes whether you have a hearing loss. They will conduct a series of assessments developed over 20 years, to establish how well you can hear. If you are concerned that you might have a noise induced hearing loss from your work place, we will evaluate your hearing loss and help you with any compensation claim that you may wish to pursue.

Free Consultation & Advice

Once your hearing has been tested by our Audiologist, advice can be given about certain options you may have for overcoming your hearing difficulty. This is commonly in the form of a hearing aid but is dependent upon you and the type of hearing loss experienced. As mentioned, the hearing test and consultation are absolutely FREE and there is NO OBLIGATION to proceed any further if you do not wish to. We feel that this is a fact finding exercise and make no charge until real benefit is provided. We aim to offer the best advice and make you aware of the range of options you have with any hearing difficulty.

Hearing Aid Selection & Fitting

If you decide a hearing aid is the right thing for you, we will offer advice and guidance on which hearing aid will best suit your individual needs. We are able to offer a full range and selection of hearing aids from all the major manufacturers, and being in the private healthcare sector, we can offer all the latest in hearing aid technologies. Once selected we will fit and programme the hearing aid so that it is uniquely tailored to your individual lifestyle.

Aftercare

What happens after my fitting? Getting used to using a hearing aid can take some time and so needs patience and persistence from the user. The brain needs time to adjust to the difference in hearing ability as it will have got used to your current, impaired, hearing ability. We provide follow-up appointments as and when you feel you need them although we recommend we see you at regular intervals once you have your new aids. We know that our patients require aftercare and you will have the knowledge that your personal audiologist is always there to help if any hearing aids need adjustment or servicing. We provide an excellent FREE aftercare service which includes re-tubing, repair and general maintenance.
