BARRAS HOME IMPROVEMENTS was established in 1987 and was originally a trade counter and retail showroom. Over the course of the first 10 years a further bathroom showroom was opened opposite the main showroom and offices and the trade counter was disbanded in favour of an entire retail showroom dedicated to kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and appliances.
About Us
We have continued to grow but have not lost the personal touch or our focus on customer service. Our team now consists of five staff based at the two showrooms, a project manager and a team of 15 installers including electricians, plasterers, kitchen and bathroom installers, tilers and decorators.

Scale Plans
Accurate plans are created from your supplied dimensions. We help you to understand requirements for electrical and plumbing installations. All kitchen plans are numbered and annotated and provide clear instructions to you installer of how you fitted kitchen is constructed.
Coloured Elevations
Coloured elevations provide an extra level of detail so you have all the information required in order for your kitchen fit to proceed efficiently and accurately. Used in conjunction with the plans and 3D images your fitters are provided with all the information they require to provide you with an accurate fitting service.
3D Images
With the help of 3D photo-realistic images you will see your new kitchen come to life. Working together we can visualise your intended space right down to your preferred interior finishes. We can show you options for kitchen worktops, flooring and decor to help you decide on the best choice of finishes before you buy.
